Losing free to air tdf coverage in the uk is a real blow; so many people who aren’t ’core fans’ of the sport tune into that every summer and it’s their only exposure to pro cycling. It will be sorely missed, especially the commentary team of Ned Boulting and David Millar.

Always interesting and informative

I think that I prefer having a pay stream here in the states which I can watch many WTRaces

And many other road races worldwide. although you are right about what a loss to potential new athletes not having a free TDF. As previously we could only try and “find” pirated content or use VPNs to see cycling. Rapha, who was it who said that bike racing is a sport of the middle and lower classes “you ride fast to catch the bread truck”. Who needs a $500 kit? Reversion to the mean

US women excel as a result of not getting $$ opportunities from US pro sports. Just look at the stats on US women in soccer envious to most Euro nations. US male kids have many more $$ than women (football basketball baseball etc) I do believe that cycle racing in the US is not over the negative impact of Armstrong’s doping saga.

Keep up the good work and the fight for road racing
